Base Station VR Comes to You!

Yup, that’s right, Base Station VR can bring Virtual Reality to you versus making you visit our physical location. We have options from 2 headsets to up to 8 headsets. Maybe you’re asking yourself “why would I want BSVR to come to me?”. We’re glad you asked, here are some reasons, definitely not an all exhaustive list:

• You want to hold a corporate event during the week and all your team can’t leave the office.
• You have an event and want to add something unique to it.
• Some of your guests can’t travel but you want them to enjoy VR either directly or indirectly through those participating.
• Maybe you want to add VR to a school event and can’t bring all the students/teachers along.

Those seeds planted in your head, here are just some things that apply to all Remote VR Sessions:

• With our current (as of 11/1/23) selection of games, each headset requires approximately 10’x10′ of space, plus an additional space for monitors and a control PC. So for 4 headsets, we’ll need approximately 20’x30′ in size.
• We are 100% open to renting a space local to you if space is an issue, the cost of this will be added to the charge from Base Station VR. We’d be happy to discuss options, including if there are locations that might be free to use.
• We can travel anywhere in New England! But the pricing below is for travel up to 50 miles in one direction from Providence, RI. Each additional 50 miles of one way travel would be $50.
• Electricity would be necessary, of course. Internet will not be necessary.
• All Remote Sessions include 1 hour of set up time, 1 hour of VR, and 1 hour of breakdown. Additional hours of VR time listed below.
• All remote sessions require a minimum of 1 week advanced notice.
• As of 11/1/23, BSVR2U is only available on weekdays. We’re hoping to expand that in 2024. If you’re still seeing this, we’re still hoping…
